About Dubai Maritime City
Dubai Maritime City is a purpose-built waterfront peninsula between Port Rashid and Dubai Drydocks, close to Bur Dubai and the Creek. It was planned as a maritime hub, with ship-repair and marine industry, an academic quarter, a marina and residential and office districts.
For homebuyers, the appeal is a sea-facing address close to the city centre: Downtown Dubai and DIFC are around 10 to 15 minutes away by car, and Dubai International Airport about 18 minutes. It is still an emerging residential location, and many of its apartments are in new, off-plan projects.
